To register an .ie domain name you must provide evidence of a connection with Ireland:

• A company/business: provide your CRO, RBN or NI company number.
• An individual: provide a scan/photo of your Irish passport or your Irish/NI driver’s license, or proof of residency on the island of Ireland (for example a Public Services Card, a bank statement or letter from Revenue with your address)
• A charity: provide a charity RCN number.
• A school: provide a school roll number.
• A club/society/band: provide a letter or ID for one of the individual members.
• A foreign company: provide an Irish/EU trademark or proof of significant trade on the island of Ireland (for example copies of recent invoices or a contract)
